Rental Terms
Drivers License:. Driver must beat least 21 years of age and must hold a valid driver license for at least one year and present a valid credit card upon arrival.
Petrol: Paid by individual renting vehicle
Guarantee: Credit card is compulsory for vehicle rental or minimum guarantee limit of 200€
Fines and Infringements: All fines and penalties are liabilities of the hirer who will be obliged to pay them.
• Insurance: All vehicles are insured toward third party accidents. Physical injury to other drivers, vehicle damage of other drivers, accident care, and personal accident as well as legal services. With the insurance towards third parties, the hirer has to assume the total amount of damage for the vehicle he is driving and is responsible for.
Optional Insurance Coverage: CDW Collision Damage Waiver, The responsibility of the hirer, for damage to rental vehicle when he is at fault, can be minimised under the various categories and their liabilities.
By paying an extra 5,00 € per day you receive C.D.W. (Collision Damage Waiver) insurance with which, in case of an accident, your liability is limited to a maximum of 350€ (+V.A.T.)

Insurance exemptions: INSURANCE does not apply for whatever may happen when the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When the driver violates the code of road rules and regulations and at any time the vehicle is driven on an unsafe or unroadworthy area. For example, any damage to the vehicle once it has been taken to mountainous or rocky roads, beaches, swamps or areas that are deemed unsuitable for vehicles. Any damage to the tires, mirrors, scooter exhaust and underneath the vehicle are not covered by the insurance policy. For accidents caused by a driver not stated in the rental contract.
In order to be covered by the insurance for any damage, you are obliged to have an official copy of the police report. Parking is allowed only at municipal parking areas and private parking areas and not on central streets.

Flat tire: In case of a flat tire if you pay an extra of 2,00 € per day, then you are not charged with the 1,00 €/km and 20 € for repair
• Taxes: All rates are subject to 24% A.T. + M.T.
• Minimum rental: One day
• Parking is prohibited in Papavasileiou Street as well as the Chora It is only permitted at the municipal parking areas.
Drop off of vehicle: The renter is obliged to return the vehicle on the specific date and time stated in the contract. He is to return it to the same location and the vehicle must be in the same condition as was when it was rented. The gas tank should have the same level as the receipt, there is no refund for gas that was not used by the renter.
Scooter2ride allows a 30 minute time extension after the agreed upon drop off time, at no extra charge. Should the renter surpass the 30 minute extended time limit he will be charged for the full day.
Off island excursions: Not permitted
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a Non- Refundable reservation: 100% of total is charged.
Cancellation of a Standard-Rate Reservation: The driver may cancel free of charge until 14 days before pickup. For a Cancellation within 14 days of pickup: only deposit is charged
No-show: 100% of total is charged.
Early drop off: 100% of total is charged.
Also, the company is fully authorised to cease a rental contract without prior notice and without refund, when the renter drives abnormally, when the driving is putting people’s lives in danger or when there is improper use of the vehicle.
*Please check if your local driver’s license is valid for driving in Greece, otherwise an international driver’s license will be required.
When picking up your bike, you’ll need:
(1) Driver’s License: The main driver’s license needs to have been held for at least 1 year (minimum age, 21 years old). Additional drivers must also present their driver’s license.
(2) Credit Card: A valid credit card in the name of the main driver.
(3) Valid ID: A valid photo ID (passport or national ID) or any other forms of identification must be presented.
